St Patrick’s School exists for the education of children from Prep age to Year Seven and is a co-educational facility still serving the township and surrounding districts of Emerald.

Student numbers at St Patrick's are expected to reach 680 students in 2011, making it the largest Catholic primary school in the Rockhampton Diocese.

At our school we aim to develop within our students the ideals of ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE and PERSONAL GROWTH which are centered around the deepening of our CHRISTIAN FAITH. We strive to have these aims as the centre point of any relationships and curriculum which occur within our community.
