At Emerald SHS we have an unswerving commitment to providing excellent educational service to our students. We have a first class and comprehensive curriculum that reflects the three phases of learning:
- Foundations First (Years 8-9)
- Windows and Doors (Year 10)
- Senior Phase of Learning (Years 11-12)
Emerald SHS is the largest secondary school in the Central Highlands with a current population of 630 students. It is our endeavour to provide an individualised learning program for every student who comes through our gates. Emerald SHS has had success not only academically (two OP 1s in 2010), but also in Music (Honours and Jazz Bands), Sport (Representation in Central Highlands, Capricornia, State and National Sports), School Musicals, successful Arts Shows.
