Heide Education provides a range of stimulating programs for students and teachers. All programs are designed to enhance curriculum requirements and complement the art, architecture and landscape of Heide.
Heide School Visits include tailored educational tours, talks and practical workshops led by trained educators. School visits are suitable for Prep to Year 12 and TAFE. Programs are also available for higher education students.
Heide Education challenges and supports students to develop deep levels of thinking and to apply their thinking to art-making. We promote reflective observation and expansive thought rather than definitive conclusions. Our facilitators draw together student’s comments, making their interactions obvious and show how listening and responding to others enriches the conversation and deepens the appreciation and examination of art.
