Education Gold Coast introduces St Joachim's Primary School Lidcombe in Lidcombe, for all your education and learning needs.
St Joachim’s is a Parish K-6 Catholic Primary School. The students come from more than forty diverse cultural backgrounds. The suburb of Lidcombe borders The Olympic Centre, Silverwater Industrial Complex, Rookwood Cemetery, Parramatta Road and Lidcombe Railway Station.
The Sisters of St Joseph founded the school in 1885 and remained active in the school until 1984. After that time the Sisters handed the Principalship over to lay staff who have continued to uphold the traditions and spirit of Blessed Mary MacKillop and her Josephite Sisters.
In the Spirit of Mary MacKillop, St Joachim’s is committed to:
The school motto is Honour, Virtue, Courage, Effort.
Welcome to St Joachim's Primary School Lidcombe one of the popular educators in your Lidcombe area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
