Wagin DHS is a District High School catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 10.
The school’s population is approximately 280.
The teaching staff at the school are experienced, capable teachers who are working towards full implementation of the Curriculum Framework. This means that your child will be receiving an education based around student needs and focussed on the creation of lifelong learners. In 2012, teachers will begin implementing the Australia Curriculum in English, Mathematics, Science and History. The school works closely with parents and values parent involvement.
We have a very enthusiastic, active Parents and Citizens’ Association which is always looking for new members. Parents are also encouraged to have a role on the School Council and other committees, and to provide feedback to the school about new policies and day to day issues.
Our vision for the school has been developed by staff and endorsed by the School Council.
