Education Gold Coast introduces Seaford K-7 School in Port Noarlunga, for all your education and learning needs.
Our school has two district Special Education classes: R-2 with Mrs Bre Bradley and Years 3-7 with Mrs Chris Raymond. These students are integrated in various ways and spend part of their learning time in mainstream classes at different times during the week.
Our school buildings are of open space design with effective dividers in some learning areas. There are three distinct learning units: Early Years, Primary Years and Middle Years. The Middle Years Unit incorporates our Japanese learning area and abuts onto the Computer studio.
The Library and Activity Hall are located in a central position, overlooking our internal courtyard and turtle pond. The activity hall is used for Performing Arts, on Monday afternoons of Weeks 3,6 and 9 of each term for whole school assemblies and for fitness and other indoor activities. This area is also used after hours by local community groups.
Each teaching area has a pod of computers. As well, our school has an attractive computer room of 32 computers for explicit teaching/learning purposes. Our ratio of computers to students meets the DECS requirements. Students have access to pods of Laptops, PC & Apple Mac and iPods and iPads which enable them to access the internet through our wireless service from their classrooms.
