Reidy Park Primary School is located in Mount Gambier, South Australia.
It is a Reception to Year 7 school and has a current enrolment of over 600 students and 40 staff members.
Reidy Park Primary School, formerly known as Mount Gambier Primary School, was the original government primary school in the city. It was opened in 1878 at Wehl Street South.
In 1955, it was relocated to its present site on O'Halloran Terrace. The buildings were designed and constructed as two schools, the primary part in the mid-fifties and the junior primary building in the early sixties.
In 1970, the two schools were amalgamated and in 1998 were consolidated on the one site.
Welcome to Reidy Park Primary School one of the popular educators in your Mount Gambier area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
