Craigmore South Primary School encourages all students to become proactive lifelong learners and citizens. The school values of respect, responsibility, collaboration, diversity and integrity are the cornerstone for developing positive relationships with both students and families.
We have a strong focus on integrating literacy, numeracy and ICT learning across the curriculum. Specialist facilities include interactive whiteboards and computers with internet access in each classroom, a technology room and a gym.
Curriculum is tailored to individual students' needs and we offer a range of intervention programs. We teach the seven core areas of study, as well as the arts 3 to 7, Japanese R to 7, Health and PE and studies of Asia.
Special needs are catered for with special education and extensive literacy support programs in place. Craigmore South participates in SAPSASA sport, statewide music festivals and instrumental music.
The school has a close relationship with the local YMCA which offers before and after-school care and a range of sporting activities after school. Access for students and staff with disabilities is catered for with ramps to most areas.
