Education Gold Coast introduces Faculty Of Social And Behavioural Sciences in St Lucia, for all your education and learning needs.
Welcome to the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences at The University of Queensland.
Our focus is on people and how they live, work and interact in their family, community and different societies. We are one of Australia’s leading social and behavioural science groups offering a diverse and unique range of disciplines and study areas.
There are six schools in the Faculty – Education, Journalism and Communication, Political Science and International Studies, Psychology, Social Science, and Social Work and Human Services.
Our schools embrace research ranging from cognitive neuroscience, to social policy, to communication for social change. This diversity allows for a range of multidisciplinary or highly focused research teams in centres of excellence to conduct basic and applied research on almost the entire field of social and behavioural sciences. We also have very strong and collaborative links with the Institute for Social Science Research and its incumbent research programs.
We value and nurture excellence and innovation in teaching and research and many of our Faculty members have received teaching and research awards at the Faculty, University and national level. The quality of our courses, programs and research is well regarded with many individual scholars in the Faculty who are world leaders in their fields.
We offer a variety of undergraduate study opportunities, including several leading to a professional qualification. We also offer a variety of postgraduate study and research areas to enable students to develop their studies further and improve and enhance their career opportunities in their chosen field
Welcome to Faculty Of Social And Behavioural Sciences one of the popular educators in your St Lucia area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
