Nerang State High School provides a well-balanced curriculum to cater for students wishing to pursue university courses, as well as those wishing to take up an apprenticeship or join the workforce upon leaving school.
To this end, we have some students completing university subjects in their final year school, along with students who are solely focussed on completing a high level academic course, while others are completing school based apprenticeships or traineeships and also students completing a course of vocational subjects at school.
Technology plays an important role in the delivery of our curriculum and the school is well set up with computers in laboratories and in the classrooms, and we have the personnel to maintain these. Highlights of the year away from the academic arena are such events as the School Musical, Swimming and Athletics Carnivals, Debating, Public Speaking, and performances from our Concert and Stage Bands.
