The motto of the school, from the founding order of Brigidine nuns, is “Strength and Gentleness”. This motto is incorporated into our daily living at St John’s, for children and adults alike. St Francis de Sales is quoted as saying “There is nothing so strong as gentleness, and nothing so gentle as real strength”.
