Education Gold Coast introduces Lurnea High School in Lurnea, for all your education and learning needs.
A unique feature of Lurnea High School is the existence of a Special Education Unit and an Intensive English Centre within the school grounds.
The school is currently part of the Priority Schools Funding Program. Lurnea High School encourages the achievement of excellence in academic, cultural and sporting endeavours, with school activities designed to engender values of understanding, tolerance, responsibility and community spirit.
The school aims to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes of each member of the school by promoting student welfare, and closer links with the wider community. The core values are reflected in the mission statement "Together We Achieve". The school has a strong Learning Support Team operating within the school to support the 70% LBOTE and special needs students. Lurnea High School is proud of its excellent welfare initiatives and citizenship programs which promotes students to become holistic and wellrounded citizens.
