Education Gold Coast introduces Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School in Lockridge, for all your education and learning needs.
Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School is a vibrant and growing school in the Gungahlin area of Canberra. Many of our families are young and/or new to Canberra. The school has responded to this need by taking a holistic approach to our mission by being a welcoming community as well as a school dedicated to helping each child achieve their own potential.
Our school opened in February 2002 with an enrolment of 85 children. For the 2012 school year, our enrolment stands at 613 children, drawn mostly from the surrounding suburbs of Amaroo, Bonner, Forde, Gungahlin, Palmerston and Ngunnawal.
The school is the centre of an ever-growing community for young families, new home owners and also for mobile families from the Australian Defence Forces and the Australian Federal Police.
Welcome to Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School one of the popular educators in your Lockridge area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
