The school is founded on the educational philosophy of Rudolf Steiner and was established by a group of enthusiastic parents in 1996.
The Alice Springs Steiner School offers a high standard of kindergarten and primary education. The school caters for children from playgroup to class 6, with approximately 125 students in the primary school, 75 in the early childhood/kindergarten and 30 families in the playgroups.
