St. John the Baptist Parish Primary School is situated at the foot hills of the Dandenong's and is aesthetically pleasing with ample grounds and buildings. The school has three main play areas.
The oval with a synthetic running track, long jump pit and adventure play equipment plus two other adventure playgrounds and marked basketball and netball courts. The buildings have been refurbished and up-dated continuously.
The school had accommodated students from Prep to Year 9. The Sisters faithfully serviced the education of young people in the Parish of St. John the Baptist for 57 years. At the end of 1993 the Presentation Sisters retired from the school and the first lay principal was appointed to commence in 1994. The school is an integral part of the Parish and parental participation is strongly encouraged.
