Education Gold Coast introduces St Leonards Primary School in Glenelg North, for all your education and learning needs.
St Leonards Primary School is a small primary school of approximately 240 students located 11 kms from Adelaide and is close to the beach and good facilities.
St Leonards Primary School has a strong and proud history of success. As educators, we are committed to the educational and social development of our students, aiming for each child to reach their full potential.
Rich opportunities are provided to our students to grow as individuals and to excel in a range of extra curricula activities including sports, performing arts, community activities and student voice. The years of fine academic tradition continue to be reflected in the achievement of consistently high grades in the national tests and competitions.
St Leonards is a fast growing school with enrolments continually increasing. It has become a school of choice with children coming from a range of near and far suburbs.
A culture has developed whereby staff, students, parents and the community work together to explore and bring about change. All stake-holders have high expectations of learning and value school pride. This is a school where parents, community, staff and students work in partnership. By identifying key personnel including staff in other schools, parents and community members as well as utilising the talents of our own staff we have helped create necessary change and strive for continual improvement. There has been a focus on on-going professional development and realising the potential of all staff. Strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Staff, students, parents and our community work together with the moral purpose to provide the best opportunities for every child.
Welcome to St Leonards Primary School one of the popular educators in your Glenelg North area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
