Mirani State High School enjoys an excellent reputation, and has had outstanding achievements across its many and varied programs. Since 1967, Mirani State High School has been assisting students to realise their potential and value as individuals through active participation in a range of programs, and achievement in the academic, sporting and cultural fields. Innovative teaching and quality learning experiences are cornerstones of our school.
As the only provider of secondary education in the Pioneer Valley, we are mindful of the need to provide multiple educational pathways for our young people. Our school is located in Mirani but provides for students from a wide area.
The Pioneer Valley provides a wonderful backdrop to our school and a terrific environment for learning. It contains people from a variety of backgrounds, although sugar cane is the main industry. Our enrolment is around 720 students which allows our school to deliver a broad curriculum in an environment where everyone can feel part of the school community.
