Education Gold Coast introduces Montessori Excelsior School in Pymble, for all your education and learning needs.
We are a small school, fully licensed by the Department of Community Services and Board of Studies NSW, comprising one class of 20 children ranging from 3 to 6 years.
A guided discovery approach is used with the teacher acting as a guide or facilitator. The rights of the children to make sensible choices and to work at their own developmentally appropriate pace is valued and respected in a Montessori classroom.
Our teachers ensure that children progress forward through the program through presentations of a variety of activities to individuals and groups at times appropriate to each child's development.
During the day, children have the opportunity to work individually or in small groups.
The children enjoy a morning snack of fresh fruit.
